Alithea Genomics, headquartered in the vibrant Biopole campus in Epalinges, is an EPFL spin-off biotechnology company specializing in providing innovative transcriptomics solutions for the discovery of new biomarkers and drug development. Position




We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks, including purchasing, payments, invoicing, bookkeeping, and general support activities. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing: Manage the procurement process for office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchases.

  • Payments:Process and track vendor payments, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

  • Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including expense reports and reconciliation of accounts.

  • General Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office organization.

  • Documentation: Ensure all administrative and financial documentation is accurately maintained and easily accessible.

  • Communication: Liaise with external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth business operations.

  • Office Management: Assist with the overall management of office facilities, ensuring a productive and pleasant work environment.


 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a biotech or scientific research environment

  •  Skills:





        • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

        •  Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

        • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

        • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
