Biped ai is a smart belt for blind and severely visually impaired people that captures information on the surrounding environment, and guides the user through sounds, in order to avoid obstacles. Our team is made of Bruno, CTO, Maël, CEO and Rudolf, signal processing engineer, and students in software engineering, hardware engineering and partnership management also joined us in February.

We are interested in the way sounds can be used to provide an understanding of the environment to blind and severely visually impaired people. Our activities are focused on finding the most efficient way to filter information for our users, while also providing a sufficient amount of information for navigation.
