CORE RESEARCH FACILITIES AT FBM, UNIL-CHUV

The Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) at UNIL operates 13 state-of-the-art facilities on the Biopôle campus. These facilities provide cross-disciplinary support to researchers at UNIL, the CHUV and beyond, in fields including structural biology, imaging, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, cytofluorometry, histology, bioinformatics and biostatistics. Harnessing the latest data analysis tools, these facilities are designed to push the boundaries of knowledge in biomedical science by facilitating fundamental, translational and clinical research, from the nano to the macro scale. The facilities are also run by highly skilled support staff, who train users on the different kinds of technology available, through both theoretical instructions and hands-on practice.
